Janey’s Arcadia Sound Performance
Sound performance translation of Janey’s Arcadia, using excerpts of various poems in the book, sounds sourced in Winnipeg, and visual images from Rachel Zolf’s research for the book. With Rachel Zolf (voice), Radiodress/Reena Katz (electro-acoustic), Anne Lederman (violin) and Shannon Maguire on the overhead projector. Documentation by Caro Ibrahim. This performance occurred November 9, 2014, at Beit Zatoun, Toronto. Additional performances happened at Niagara Arts Centre (St. Catharines, ON) and Pratt Institute (Brooklyn).
